Our Story

Objects with a point of view.

La'part is a celebration of the objects that make a space feel personal.

Born from a shared love of design, fashion and beautifully considered spaces, La'part brings together distinctive objects that are meant to do more than simply decorate. We look for pieces with character—objects that catch the eye, invite curiosity and add something unexpected to the spaces they inhabit.

The idea began with a simple belief: the most memorable spaces are not created by following a formula. They are created by collecting things that speak to you.

La'part is our way of bringing those pieces together.

The Founders

Two perspectives. One point of view.

La'part brings together two very different professional worlds, connected by a shared instinct for detail, aesthetics and the belief that beautiful things deserve to be thoughtfully chosen.

Co-Founder | Interior Designer & Design Curator

Arshita Chawla

Arshita brings a trained interior designer’s eye to La'part, thoughtfully selecting pieces that can elevate the character of a space. As the founder of Design De Jour, she has built a premium practice rooted in refined interiors, bespoke furniture and a strong understanding of proportion, material and detail.

With La'part, she brings this experience into the world of objects and décor—curating distinctive pieces that are designed to add personality, character and conversation to a room. Her design sensibility forms the foundation of La'part’s belief that the right object can transform not just a space, but the way it feels.

Priyanka Sethi, co-founder of La'part

Co-Founder | Corporate Lawyer & Design Curator

Priyanka Sethi

With a background in corporate law and a keen eye for fashion, design and detail, Priyanka brings a naturally discerning perspective to La'part. Her professional life has taught her to look closely—to understand nuance, recognise quality and appreciate the thought behind well-crafted work.

At La'part, that instinct translates into a passion for discovering objects with presence and personality. She brings a considered eye to the selection and curation of pieces, seeking out designs that can transform a space and become part of the stories lived within it.

Two perspectives. One collection.

Where design expertise meets a discerning eye.

Arshita understands spaces. Priyanka understands the details that make something stand apart.

Together, they bring two complementary perspectives to every piece that finds its way into La'part.

From the proportion and material of an object to the feeling it creates when placed in a room, every selection is made with intention. We are drawn to pieces that feel distinctive without being fleeting, expressive without being excessive, and beautiful without needing to announce themselves.

La'part is the meeting point of these perspectives—a curated world of objects chosen to live beautifully, individually and together.

We don’t believe a home should look like a showroom. It should look like you.

Curated for conversation

Because the best objects have something to say.

A favourite chair. A sculptural object picked up on a journey. A photograph. A beautiful bowl. A piece that makes someone stop and ask, “Where did you find that?”

These are the details that give a space its personality.

La'part brings together objects that have that quality—pieces that can become talking points, create unexpected moments and quietly change the way a room feels.

Created for spaces. Chosen for character. Curated for conversation.

A Design De Jour story

La'part is born from the design experience of Design De Jour, the premium interiors and bespoke furniture practice founded by Arshita Chawla.

That foundation gives La'part an understanding of how objects actually live within spaces—not simply how they look on a shelf or in a photograph. It allows us to approach décor with the same attention to proportion, material, balance and detail that goes into creating considered interiors.

La'part takes that experience one step further: from designing spaces to discovering the objects that make them yours.
